The newly merged North Hants Wine Society held its inaugural meeting in the Barn at St Michael's, opening with formal constitutional business and the election of the first committee under chair David Rossell. The tasting took a four-corners format — Spain, South Africa, New Zealand and Italy — with pairs of white and red from each region and a finger buffet encouraging 25 members, old and new, to get acquainted.
