The Society closed its inaugural tasting year in fine festive style, with 36 members in Christmas jumpers sharing wines from their own cellars across four Old World corners — Burgundy, the Loire, Spain and Italy, with a Fino sherry welcome and a White Port toast. Catering from Sue Rossell, and the Wisemans taking home a bottle for the most outlandish knitwear.
