Seventeen members gathered at David and Sue Rossell's home for the summer party, retreating indoors from a typically cool July day to enjoy a splendid Italian buffet. The afternoon centred on seven wines from Lidl's rotating 'Wine Tour' range, spanning Vernaccia di San Gimignano through to a sweet Moscato, all selected with shelf notes by Richard Bampfield MW.
